How to remove your IP from the SPFBL blacklist

  • Port 25 open (IPv6 SLAAC only)
  • Reputation below 25% negative points per total send volume

Note on WHOIS privacy: If your domain has privacy protection enabled, SPFBL will flag it as non-compliant. You can temporarily disable privacy protection, complete the delist process, then re-enable it. Wait at least one hour after disabling privacy before submitting your request.

If your domain uses a TLD on SPFBL’s blocked list (examples include .xyz, .top, .site, .club, .fun, .icu, and others commonly associated with high spam rates), free delist is unavailable. You must use the paid path.

Step 4: Submit your free delist request

  1. Go to https://spfbl.net/en/delist/
  2. Enter your IP address
  3. SPFBL will verify your FCrDNS, rDNS domain ownership, WHOIS status, and postmaster account
  4. If all checks pass, the delist will be processed

Step 5 (alternative): Paid delist via PayPal

If your IP does not meet the free delist technical requirements, SPFBL offers a paid removal path with different criteria:

  • Static IP with mail server reverse configured
  • With an active PayPal account
  • Public accountability, meaning user must agree to have their email address shown publicly on this platform

What happens after you get delisted?

Include admin@spfbl.net in your MTA’s whitelist to ensure SPFBL’s system messages are not rejected by greylisting or content filters. SPFBL requires this for ongoing communication, including abuse reports and RFC 5321 does not allow filtering on the postmaster address.
